Overview
Information Technology Services (ITS) makes a number of training resources available to students, faculty, and staff. In addition to self-paced materials, ITS has developed courses for users of our services, as well as for technical staff to advance their skills.

Programs
ITS offers the following training programs to campus:
- Scheduled training classes are available for open registration through TXCLASS, the online training registration system.
- Training on Request services provides departments with short lecture or hands-on instruction to enhance the value of services provided by ITS. To request custom training on an ITS service, please send an e-mail to the ITS Training Team.
- The Information Analyst Training Program is an on-the-job training program in software development, preparing staff to work in the university's administrative computing environment.
- The Security Training Program provides intensive programs in computer security to qualified university staff.
Cost
Training services are provided at low or no cost to faculty and staff. Contact the ITS Training Team for specific cost information.
