How Long is a UMBS E-mail Account Active?
Your UMBS e-mail remains active for as long as you are affiliated with the university and for six months following your departure from the university. This gives you time to:
- Establish a new mailbox name at your new job, school or Internet service provider.
- Notify everyone of your new address.
- Automatically forward your e-mail from mail.utexas.edu to your new address.
