Disk Space Limit
You have 100 megabytes (MB) of disk space to store your mail. Even if you keep a lot of mail on the server, you are unlikely to use all that space. Large attachments in stored mail, such as high-resolution photos, presentations, or other graphics-heavy files, will make you more likely to exceed your limit. Using Webmail to delete messages from the mail server is one way you can regain disk space. If you need to store large files or make them available to others, you can also look at WebSpace as an alternative.
If your mail exceeds the 100 MB limit, new mail sent to you will be returned to the sender.
Note: If you are a proctor for a class and students will be submitting large files via e-mail, you might quickly reach your disk limit, thus not receiving all mail sent to you. In such cases, you should get either a personal account or a departmental account on an ITS UNIX system, where you can have limits much higher than 100 MB.
