The University of Texas at Austin

UTForge

Overview

UTForge is a Web interface designed to allow campus developers to store and share source code written in house. The UTForge interface includes features that allow campus developers to collaborate among colleges and departments, and that increase efficiencies in communication, development time, and issue resolution. Anyone with a UT EID can browse and be given access to work on projects, though only users with a developer entitlement can create projects. Project administrators also have the ability to restrict access to their project so that the project wiki and code is not publicly accessible to anyone, even those individuals with an EID.

Features

  • Easy interface to create and upload new projects
  • Wiki, timeline, roadmap, and ticket tabs to help manage projects
  • Searchable index of stored projects
  • EID protected

Cost

UTForge is available at no cost to UT faculty and staff members.
