Before You Begin
Before you begin using Webmail, you must have a valid utexas.edu e-mail account that supports an IMAP server.
IMAP servers at the university include:
- UMBS E-mail
- Unix Timesharing Service (UTS)
- Department servers (check with your individual school)
NOTE: Austin Exchange Messaging Service (AEMS) is not available for use with Webmail. AEMS users can access their e-mail through Outlook Web Access.
Check with your departmental support staff or contact the ITS Help Desk if you have questions about your server.
After you have confirmed your e-mail account will work with Webmail, you can log on to the service.
