Creating and Organizing Tasks
In Webmail, you can create entries for tasks that you want to complete and track. To access the task pages, expand the Organizing icon in the left sidebar and click the Tasks icon, or click the Tasks icon at the top of the main Webmail page. The default view is a list of all your tasks. Use the tabs at the top of the page to change the display to a list of incomplete tasks or completed tasks. When you complete a task, place a checkmark in the checkbox next to the task on the My Tasks page.
From any Tasks page, click the My Tasklists icon at the top of the page to edit your task permissions. You can specify user and guest access to view, read, and edit your tasks.
Creating a Task
- From any Tasks page, click the New Task icon at the top of the page to display the Adding a New Task page.
- Enter the details about the task, such as the name, due date, and description.
- Click the Save button to save the task and return to the list of your tasks.
Using Categories
You can use categories to organize your tasks into different types, such as vacation, personal, or associated with a specific project. You can color-code each task so they display differently if you add them to a calendar.
From the All Tasks tab of the My Tasks page, click the color-square icon next to the Category heading to display the Categories and Labels page of the Global Options section of Webmail. Click the New Category button and enter the category name, then select the color to use for the category. You also can create a new category from the Adding a New Task page.
