WebSpace
Overview
WebSpace was retired from service on May 22, 2014. WebSpace was a legacy online file storage and sharing service. UTBox and Google Drive/Sites through UTmail are two new options available to The University of Texas at Austin community for cloud collaboration and storage. Please contact the ITS Help Desk with any questions .
This retirement was endorsed by the IT Architecture & Infrastructure Committee in 2013.

Faculty and Staff
File Sharing
Current faculty and staff should use the new UTBox cloud based file sharing service for business use. UTBox offers 25 GB (gigabyte) storage and file sharing accounts.
Web Publishing Options
Faculty and staff can use Google Drive and Google Sites associated with UTmail accounts to host webpages. The University Blog Service also provides web publishing using the WordPress platform.
Integration with Canvas
The new Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) integrates with Google Drive associated with UTmail accounts available to students, faculty, and staff. Learn more about Canvas at canvas.utexas.edu. Sign up for your UTmail account at get.utmail.utexas.edu.
Green Output
All mainframe output sent to the default Green Output destination will now be sent to Austin Disk. Users will find their reports in a folder named with their EID within a top-level folder named e-Reports. Please see our help page for more information.
Students
Students should use Google Drive for file sharing, collaboration, and storage. Google Drive is a feature of University of Texas UTmail email accounts, which also have a 25 GB (gigabyte) storage size. Sign up for your UTmail account at get.utmail.utexas.edu.
