Why Can't Other WebSpace Users Share with Me?
If you have chosen to restrict your name, e-mail address, or UT EID information through the Registrar’s Restrict My Info tool, other WebSpace users will be unable to find you with the WebSpace share/search function. Your identity will appear as “Anonymous User <noone@nowhere.edu>” when you log in to WebSpace or share files with others.
You will continue to have access to all WebSpace functionality except for the feature that allows others to share files with you. If you want other WebSpace users to share files with you, they must create a ticket and e-mail it directly to you. If you would prefer to change the restrictions on your information, go to the Registrar’s Restrict My Info tool and change your WebSpace privacy settings.
