Using Logging to Track Who Accesses Your Files

Turning on the WebSpace logging option allows you to view a history of who accesses your WebSpace files and when they did so. This record can help you maintain the confidentiality and integrity of the information you store on WebSpace.

Turning Logging "On" or "Off"

  1. Right-click the file.
  2. Select Manage, and then choose Logging from the pop-up menu.
  3. Select the Enable/Disable Logging button to turn logging on or off.

Viewing a History of File Access

The Logging screen displays a record of who accesses the file, and when they did so, during the time Logging is turned on. To view the activity logged for a particular file:

  1. Right-click the file.
  2. Select Manage, and then choose Logging from the pop-up menu.

Any actions taken on the file will appear in the action list.
