  • Law prof. gets political science award

    H.W. Perry Jr., associate professor of law and government, was honored with the Wadsworth Publishing Award in Political Science for his 1991 book, “Deciding to Decide: Agenda Setting in the United States Supreme Court.” The award is given annually for a book or journal article, 10 years or older, that has made a lasting impression on the field of law and courts. A specialist in constitutional and public law, Perry is also co-author of “Civil Liberties and the Constitution” and various articles. He is working on a study of decision-making in the U.S. Department of Justice.
