  • Prof wins green chemistry grant

    The American Chemical Society Green Chemistry Institute’s Pharmaceutical Roundtable has awarded Michael J. Krische, chair of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, a $130,000 grant for work on a research project that targets greener synthetic methodologies resulting in improved environmental benefits. The grant was awarded as part of a far-reaching effort to expand green chemistry and engineering practices in the global pharmaceutical industry.
