    Butler School of Music press conference

    The School of Music in the College of Fine Arts at The University of Texas at Austin was named for Dr. Ernest and Sarah Butler following the couple’s gift of $55 million, the largest single gift for a music school at a public university. President William Powers Jr. made the announcement March 18 in the Main Building at The University of Texas at Austin.
