  • LBJ professor selected as deputy director of White House health reform

    Jeanne Lambrew, professor at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs, has been selected as the deputy director of the White House Office of Health Reform for the Obama administration. Lambrew will be deputy director under Sen. Tom Daschle, who has been nominated as secretary of health and human services and director of a new White House Office on Health Care Reform. Daschle and Lambrew co-authored a book titled “Critical: What We Can Do About the Health-Care Crisis.”
