Last year Southwest Elementary School counselor Chris Lamons brought 21 students — many of whom come from challenging life situations — with her to experience Explore UT. Here, Lamons talks about how important it is for these children to see, touch and walk the streets of a university so that they can imagine what is possible for them one day.
