THANK YOU, TEXAS!
The big12 is awful.
bitter much, chris??? Long live the Big 12!!!
Thank you, Texas!! From an ISU fan- I may love you even if you kick our %*%!!
Absolutely no offense to Big 12 schools and in this case, UT. We in the far west are delighted that we remain essentially west coast. We trust that you feel the same. Now, perhaps Colorado will consider rejoining you folks and the Big 12. Cheers!
YAAAAAY!!
Thank god we still a southwest rivalry. remants of what was old swc plus some. Let's make this last forever.
Thank you, Texas for making a decision that keeps the Big 12 together!
Lousy move. We remain in a mediocre conference. Why are we afraid of competition? Keep on scheduling LA-Monroe and North Texas and we'll preserve our Big 12 dominance.
Now why would we not go get TCU and Arkansas and keep it the big 12?
Hook'em Horns!!!!!
You stink! Why does everyone think UT has to be in control of everything? Big babies, if you don't get all the money and the TV attention, you threaten you're gonna leave.
I hope we go out and get two schools that boost the profile and competition of the Big 12 light (Big 10 Already taken.) I think we let the story roll too long, and now A&M wants to let the SEC come into Texas. If they leave they would be doing the same thing we are doing now staying for the promise of money, and A&M would be leaving because of money. Since we are staying though we should offer Big 12 membership to The University of Houston, because they should have been in since the beginning. And to think I got all excited to be going out to watch the Longhorns play in Stanford, Berkley or Seattle instead of Manhattan, Kansas or Ames, Iowa. No offense to anyone from there. I hope we don't get cheated in the end.
mk you must be an OU fan - boo hoo!

Thank you is hard to say inasmuch as we love to hate you when we play each other. But thank you Texas. And A&M.

[...] Now that the dust has settled, and we can apply that 20-20 vision which only hindsight allows, there is no doubt that the biggest winner is the University of Texas with its decision to remain with the Big XII. [...]
Congrats on a good season from the alumni class of 1994.
