    “World”

It marks the passage of time. Serenades us. Offers up its halls for study. And though it stands 307 feet tall it can be seen around the world. The University of Texas at Austin. What starts here changes the world.

    “Stand”

It stands for higher learning. Opportunity. Discovery. Pride. Or to put it another way, The University of Texas at Austin. What starts here changes the world.

    “One”

How do you go about changing the world? You start with one molecule. One word. One brush stroke. One purpose. The University of Texas at Austin. What starts here changes the world.

    “Brag”

We could tell you about all the far-reaching work going on across campus. We could go on about our students and our mission to transform lives. But it’s not in our nature to brag. Unless, of course, it’s true. The University of Texas at Austin. What starts here changes the world.

HOOK 'EM!!!!! I'm so proud to have represented Texas while studying abroad in Spain--a guy there asked to buy my UT shirt so he could hang it up on his bar called "Austin."

These should probably be kept out of the football stadium. There will be serious backlash if the Walter Cronkite ad is not shown.

I LOVE "Three words" but I agree, there will be a riot at DKR if they stop showing the Cronkite ads altogether.

Why did they make 4 ads basically the exact same? I think they could be more creative than that... and these ads definitely will not get people hyped up like the Cronkite ads. All in all.. slightly boring and very disappointed! :( ~ From a new grad, proud to be a longhorn!

I agree with what some other people said. The new ads are awesome, but the Cronkite ads were so much better. I really hope we continue to show those as well as these.

Wow, I don't know if these ads are just no good or there is no way to live up to the Cronkite ads. I know there were a couple never released, including one in which he claims "we're an awfully damn big piece" of the universe. It was awesome, but got tucked away in a drawer somewhere. I wish they would have recorded dozens of commercials with Cronkite and just released one or two a year for decades to come. I know the bar was set high, but these ads fall short. I know there are people at UT with the vision to raise the bar once again.

The voice does not resonate like the previous ads with Walter Cronkite. The “What Starts Here Changes the World” is too weak and low key. You need a voice that is commanding with these spots. These just don't have the "it" factor like the Cronkite ads.

I think Conrad does a fine job of narrarting the commercials. Both Cronkite and Conrad are notable Texas alumni and should be recognized for their accomplishments.

Hi there! Who can I talk to about getting a copy of a photo used in the Three Words ad? My friend and I are seen in the last frame of the commercial with our horns up. This was from the 2000 Commencement Ceremony at the tower when Bill Moyers spoke. This picture has been used in several mailouts and is even a sticker. Can you help? Thanks!
