Just looking at that video made me think of the many difreent styles you can use to create diffrent buildings. If I learned that from a video imagine what I can learn from being in the classroom. I love it that there are not a lot of people in the classroom so one can get the attention they need. The professors look as if they interact and get to know the student. That is just awesome. I hope this school keeps going for more years and generations.

The School of Architecture is more than just Architecture. It's a nice video, but it's a video for the Architecture programs, not the School as a whole. It would be great to touch on the other programs, or at bare minimum, mention them.

Thank you so much for this video, it allowed me to know that I truly want to pursue education in Architecture. Specifically at UT, because I see the way you use hands on techniques and also how students can really reach out to the communities they want to serve and build solutions to better tomorrows.

Great video. Hugh Orr, you can tell your mother that a degree in interior design is now offered in the SoA ever since 1997.

Lovely video... I'd love to see more of these for different departments in each school. It would do wonders in advertising the programs, communicating between students and schools, and showing the value of this university. We need to see these types of passionate students and teachers right now while fighting against destructive reform.

It is great to see women in this video on the activities in the school of architecture. It is a big change from the 1950s. My mother graduated from UT with a degree in math in the 1950s. My mother has an interest in interior design and had tried to get a degree from this school. She was told that women were not allowed to get a degree in this department at that time. She settled for the degree in math. The good news is that she did meet my dad in the school of architecture. They are living happily ever after with one son a graduate of UT Austin and another a graduate of UT El Paso.
