  • Tower shines tonight for football win

    The Tower at The University of Texas at Austin will be lighted with an orange top Saturday evening (Sept. 3) to mark the win of the university’s football team in the season opener against Rice University.

    The Longhorns defeated the Owls in a 34-9 victory at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.

      We love our Horns and are excited for this new squad and staff..... Hope this Beautiful Tower looks like this for the entire season... Please make it so that we can watch the games when we are unable to be with you in person....PLEASE

      Congrats on the victory. Too bad that no one outside the stadium got to watch the game. Doesn't speak well for the nonexistent Longhorn Network.
