
The Tower at The University of Texas at Austin will shine orange Saturday evening, April 14, in recognition of Honors Day.
On Honors Day, the university salutes those students who have distinguished themselves through outstanding academic achievement.

What's the point? Just light the Tower orange all the time and let it be. It used to be "special" when the Tower was lighted and all of Austin would wonder, but now, it's lighted every time the President passes wind it seems. Now we citizens may wonder why, but we don't care anymore.
