It is interesting that the article says 'Well-educated people are more likely to acquire the civic skills necessary to volunteer' - is this because those who are in need of selfless acts are perhaps accepting of their fate? I've often found in personal circumstances that is often those who have the least and are in need of help themselves tend to be more selfless.

Also there are people who can't give any charity but they help in gathering such fund. IF we see from Global point of view, we see big names like USAID, UNHCR, and a lot more organizations helping others. The article is great one. Thanks for providing such stuff.
