In anticipation of President Barack Obama’s visit, we asked experts from around campus what they think will be most important for the president to focus on through the remainder of his term. Read responses from Sean Theriault, associate professor in the Department of Government in the College of Liberal Arts; Sherri Greenberg, lecturer in the LBJ School of Public Affairs; and Alejandra Salinas, junior in the McCombs School of Business and president of the College Democrats of America.

It is pretty cool to see a young person engaged with politics and paying attention to the issues. I'm not sure how Greenberg counts as an expert though.
@hoot: after the arrests and detainment of 4 peaceful activists on 8/9, are you surprised that this message board isn't trans-partisan? i'm not a party loyalist...quite honestly, i don't see much difference between the two. but EVERYONE should be able to weigh in... ut should be ashamed that they allowed themselves to be strong-armed into shutting down free speech. "free speech zones"...what a JOKE! AMERICA is a free speech zone!
