      Back in the Jurassic I wandered through UT with a BA and a smattering of everything possible. Chance intervened as I was a very good singer and the UT madrigal group was chosen by the state dept for a 4 month tour in europe and the middle east. Just before leaving I stood up in a bookstore and read "The Hero with a Thousand Faces" (couldn't afford to buy it) by Joseph Campbell, and that odyssey became my fuzzy roadmap of what I was about. I built up an international consulting practice between europe and america, and more lately am investing in trying to leapfrog the startup of telehealth in the US. What you are doing Kate, is absolutely worthwhile just to help your students orient themselves and not lose confidence in their quest.
