My Mom told me that at four years old that I played the Davy Crockett record so much that I nearly not only drove her crazy but, eventually wore out the record. I am finally starting to deal with my own mortality... what great childhood memories! Thanks, Mr. Parker.....

I was born in 1950, so I was a big fan of Fess Parker. When Disney had a Davy Crockett episode on, me and my friends would sit with our coon skin caps and watch our hero fight bears and Indians (sorry not politically correct now). I enjoyed watching Mr. Parker in any show he was on. He was likable, and so charismatic on screen. Thanks for the great memories, Fess. You won't be forgotten.
