Congrat to all the first-graders and the two teachers Natacha and Kelly. I am not surprised by the performance of the class due to the experience, the commitment and know-how of the two teachers and the willgness of the UT Elementary first-graders to learn. I know very well one of the two teachers. Keep it up. Louis Ndabahagamye, father of Natacha Ndabahagamye Jones.
I hope these kids enjoy collaboration in the lower grades... because once the testing starts in 3rd grade it will be back to the worksheets and practice tests! God forbid their exploration causes them to fall a little bit behind their age peers in 3rd grade!
