| Description: | Longhorns fans will have two opportunities to get a first-hand look at the Texas football team and a chance to personally meet the squad as it prepares for its season opener at Rice University on Sept. 4.
The two open practices will be Wednesday, Aug. 11, and Thursday, Aug. 12, from 7-9 p.m. at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.
Gates 1, 7, 14, 16, 27 and 28 will open at 6 p.m. and all fans will be directed to the east grandstands for seating. Parking will be available in the Manor, San Jacinto and Trinity garages.
However, if practice is moved to the Indoor Practice Facility ("The Bubble") at Denius Fields at any point, space limitations prevent the workout from remaining open.
