| Description: | The Strauss Center invites you to "Climate Change and Energy: 21st Century Global Security Challenges," with Admiral Neil Morisetti (UK), Climate and Energy Security Envoy and Admiral Dennis McGinn (USN, Ret.), Center for Naval Analyses Military Advisory Board.
Vice Admiral Dennis McGinn is a member of the Center for Naval Analyses Military Advisory Board. The board has released reports regarding climate change and national security. Adm. McGinn is also chairman at RemoteReality. He spent five years with Batelle Memorial Institute. He served 35 years with the U.S. Navy as an aviator, test pilot and aircraft carrier commanding officer. He is a director on the board of the National Conference on Citizenship, a senior advisor to the American Council on Renewable Energy and an international security senior fellow at the Rocky Mountain Institute.
Rear Admiral Neil Morisetti joined the Royal Navy in 1976. He held appointments at sea before assuming command of HMS Cygnet, a member of the N. Ireland Squadron. Subsequent commands have included HMS Cardiff and the aircraft carrier HMS Invincible. In 2009, he became Climate and Energy Security Envoy for the Ministry of Defense and Foreign Commonwealth Office. |
