Description:Julie Mares of the University of Wisconsin's Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences will present a talk titled "Nutrition, Lifestyle and Age-Related Macular Degeneration: We Pass on More Than Genes to the Next Generation" as part of the Department of Nutritional Sciences' Seminar Series. Mares is a highly regarded researcher in the field of nutrition and eye health. She uses epidemiological approaches to investigate the relationship between diet, aging and eye disease.
