| Description: | The Blanton Museum Gala is a biennial event that provides essential support for the museum's programs for students and adults. The 2011 Blanton Museum Gala honors internationally celebrated artist and native Texan Robert Wilson, a former UT student, whose groundbreaking work has been influential in both the visual and performing arts. This event will also
* Provide essential funding in support of the Blanton's wide range of outstanding exhibitions and extensive programming for students, adults and children of all ages.
