February 2, 2011
Time:9:45 a.m.-3 p.m.
Description:Visit the Volunteer and Service Learning Center's Volunteer Fair, where nonprofit and government agencies will be seeking enthusiastic volunteers and promoting service in the Austin community. Those likely to be in attendance include the Austin Independent School District, Care Communities, Family Connections, Neighborhood Longhorns, College Forward and the Attorney General's Office, among others.

The University Volunteer and Service Learning Center (VSLC) is a campus-based clearinghouse and action center for UT students, faculty and staff interested in making a difference in their community. The UT Student Volunteer Board serves as the student-run programming arm of the VSLC. Our goal is to provide prospective volunteers with the information they need to choose a volunteer opportunity. The spring 2011 Volunteer Fair is just one of many activities the VSLC and the UT Student Volunteer Board organize throughout the year to encourage community service.
