Description:Celebrate black composers and arrangers with special guest Barbara Conrad at a concert featuring the UT Butler School of Music and Huston-Tillotson University students, as well as Huston-Tillotson's Jazz Combo and Concert Choir. The programs includes music of H. Leslie Adams, Margaret Bonds, Roland Carter, Miles Davis, William Dawson, Mark Fax, Dizzy Gillespie, Eugene Hancock, Moses Hogan, John Rosamond Johnson, James Weldon Johnson, Undine Smith Moore, Florence Price and George Walker.
