Description:"Eastern Plays" (Iztochni piesi), directed by Kamen Kalev, is the story of two alienated brothers, Itso (Hristo Hristov), an artist who is struggling with his methadone addiction, and Georgi (Ovanes Torosyan), a high school student involved in a neo-Nazi gang. The neo-Nazis attackss a Turkish family on the streets of Sofia. Georgi participates in the violence, but Itso witnesses it and rescues the family. The two brothers meet later for the first time in years. Georgi, now asked to participate in larger events, starts to question his involvement in the movement, while Itso wonders if the beautiful Turkish girl he saved could be his ticket out of a sad life in Sofia. Only by reuniting will the two brothers be able to assess what they really want from life.
