| Description: | Attend the Volunteer and Service Learning Center's Volunteer Fair, where nonprofit and government agencies will be seeking enthusiastic volunteers and promoting service in the Austin community. Those likely to be in attendance include the Austin Independent School District, Care Communities, Family Connections, Neighborhood Longhorns, College Forward and the Attorney General's Office, among others.
The University Volunteer and Service Learning Center (VSLC) is a campus-based clearinghouse and action center for University of Texas at Austin students, faculty and staff interested in making a difference in their community. The university's Student Volunteer Board serves as the student-run programming arm of the VSLC. Our goal is to provide prospective volunteers with the information they need to choose a volunteer opportunity.
For more information, contact the University Volunteer and Service Learning Center at 512-471-6161, UTvolunteer.org or vslc.org. |
