Description:Dr. Christine Leche of Austin Community College will read and discuss writings by members of the U.S. military before tonight's performance of "Black Watch." Leche teaches creative writing and English courses to veterans and their families. While on staff at the University of Maryland-Europe, she taught military members in Germany, Italy, Bosnia, Kosovo, Honduras and Afghanistan. Leche also served as academic director in English, communications and foreign languages. For more information, please contact Judith Rhedin at 512-471-6376.

"Black Watch," performed by the National Theatre of Scotland, is a stirring play based on interviews conducted by Scottish playwright Gregory Burke with veteran soldiers who served in Iraq.
