Description:The Performing Blackness Lab Series presents Sharon Bridgforth, playwright, artist and teacher, and "Ring/Shout: A Work in Progress Pt. 2," by Bridgforth, Florinda Bryant and the 2010-2011 Austin Project Ensemble.

Bridgforth is a resident playwright at New Dramatists since 2009 and a writer working in the theatrical jazz aesthetic. Her piece " pudding" was produced in the 2010 New York SummerStage Festival. She is the 2010-2011 visiting multicultural faculty member at the Theatre School at DePaul University.
