Brecht & Weill's "Threepenny Opera" is panel topic
As a prologue to the Department of Theatre & Dance production of Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill's "Threepenny Opera," join us for a lively discussion of the play, its history and its historical context with director Halena Kays, dramaturg Eleanor Owicki and UT faculty Dr. David Crew (History) and Dr. Janet Swaffar (Germanic Studies). Dr. Kurt Heinzelman will moderate. Reception to follow.
