Children in the adult justice system is talk topic
LBJ School senior lecturer and attorney Michele Deitch discusses the implications of placing young children in a system designed for adults. Her study, "From Time Out to Hard Time: Young Children in the Adult Criminal Justice System," focuses on the consequences of prosecuting and punishing children aged 12 and under as if they were adults.
