| Description: | The Center for Teaching and Learning's spring 2011 Academic Transformation Series presents John Immerwahr, professor of philosophy at Villanova University, "Minding the Gap between Faculty and Student Perspectives on Learning."
Often, faculty members and students have radically different perspectives on the experience of learning in college.
Effective teaching requires understanding those gaps and trying to bridge them. Immerwahr engages participants in trying to isolate some of those gaps and strategize about ways to close them. |
