Are money and politics corrupting our democracy?
Professor Lawrence Lessig of the Harvard Law School speaks on the corrosive influence of money in politics. Lessig's presentation will be followed by a panel discussion moderated by the Quorum Report's Harvey Kronberg, featuring the Honorable Sherri Greenberg, interim director of the Center for Politics and Governance; Steve Bickerstaff, adjunct professor, The University of Texas at Austin Law School; Brian Roberts, professor of government at the university; and Mark McKinnon, an Austin-based media consultant who serves on the board of FixCongressFirst with Lessig.
