New UT Events Calendar to Launch in January 2014

Event submissions via Know Events has been retired effective December 20, 2013. University Communications is implementing a new events calendar in January 2014. The new site is located at

Please go to Hornslink to submit an event. Instructions on how to submit an event using Hornslink can be found on the Dean of Students website.

Other Students, Faculty, and Staff:
Please visit the new UT Events Calendar to submit an event. Instructions on how to submit an event to the new UT Events Calendar can be found on the University Communications website.

Events may still be submitted automatically to the new UT Events Calendar through a standards-compliant RSS or iCal feed. Please consult the UT Events Calendar Documentation for more information.

Current recipients of the Know Events email newsletter will continue to receive events listings once the transition has been made.

Time:9 a.m.-noon
Description:H2O will be volunteering at both Fig Leaf and Open Door Lunch, both located at University United Methodist Church. Fig Leaf is a clothing pantry and Open Door Lunch is a hot lunch program. At Fig Leaf, volunteers stock racks, sort clothing and help recipients select and bag their clothing. At Open Door Lunch, volunteers will cook and set up to serve lunch. (No cooking experience needed.) The events run simultaneously. RSVP to Volunteers must wear closed-toed shoes and bring some sort of head covering.
