Description:"Our Beloved Month of August" (Aquele Querido Mês de Agosto) is a 2008 Portuguese film directed by Miguel Gomes.
Truly something new under the sun, this category-exploding film is seductive and effortlessly compelling as it wanders between different cinematic realms. Gomes carts his crew to rural Portugal, where he starts filming local music festivals and creates a story about a family of pop musicians, blending fiction with documentary elements.
