Description:
Centerpiece Theater series screens "The Garden"
In conjunction with the Center Space exhibition "The Working Homeless," Centerpiece Theater presents "The Garden" (2008) an Academy Award-nominated documentary directed by Scott Hamilton Kennedy that tells the story of the now-demolished South Central Farm, a community garden and urban farm in Los Angeles.
Centerpiece Theater is a series of films specially curated and screened to complement the exhibitions on view in the Visual Arts Center's Center Space Gallery. The series is curated and presented by Center Space Project, the student organization of the Visual Arts Center.
