| Description: | Dr. Beccy Watson of Leeds Metropolitan University, UK, delivers a lecture titled "Bollywood in the Park: Exploring South Asian Diaspora Experiences of Public Leisure Space," as a part of her extended stay as a visiting researcher within the Department of Sociology. Watson is a principal lecturer in the Carnegie Faculty at Leeds, teaches sociological and cultural aspects of leisure and sport. Her research interests include gender and leisure, ethnicity and identity and changing cities. She is a managing editor for the journal "Leisure Studies." |
