Description:"Make-Up's Deadly Cover Up: Not Just a Pretty Face." Attend a talk and panel discussion about the ugly side of the beauty and cosmetics industry. This $50 billion industry is so powerful that it has kept itself unregulated for decades, permitting such toxic ingredients as coal tar to be added to shampoo. This event delves into the dark side of the beauty industry and looks to hopeful solutions for a healthier future.

A reception following the event will take place from 5-7 p.m. at W3LL People, 215 S. Lamar, with organic fare, refreshments and eco-makeovers.
