Description:Hook the Cure, a student-run diabetes awareness organization, hosts the second annual Diabetes Awareness Conference. This year's conference focuses on diabetes and its relationship with cardiovascular disease. The conference consists of a poster presentation (6-7 p.m.), speaker panel (7-8 p.m.) and a benefit dinner (8-9 p.m.). All proceeds from the benefit dinner will be donated to local diabetes-related charities.
