October 13, 2011
Time:2-4 p.m.
Description:This educational session addresses ethical issues and regulatory guidelines when using children as research subjects. Helpful tips will be provided for IRB proposals that plan to use children as subjects. Registration through TXclass is encouraged but not required. Visit http://links.utexas.edu/gyukkk or search for RC 204 in TXClass.

Each IRB educational session targets investigators and potential investigators across all disciplines. The first hour of the session is a presentation; the second hour is a workshop and Q&A session. Investigators are encouraged to bring laptops or a printed version of the online proposal for face-to-face assistance with the submission process. Attendees are invited to whichever part(s) of the session suits their needs.
