Description:"Curricular Reform in Sixteenth-Century Italy: Ulisse Aldrovandi and the University of Bologna" is a talk by Dr. David Lines, Department of Italian and Centre for the Study of the Renaissance, University of Warwick. RSVP to cmeador@austin.utexas.edu by 9 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 21.

Lines focuses on Renaissance classical scholarship and intellectual history. Specifically, he has explored the reception of Aristotle's works and the contexts in which these were taught, especially in the case of natural and moral philosophy. Dr. Bruce J. Hunt, Department of History, The University of Texas at Austin, serves as respondent.
