| Description: | Lesley Stern presents "Sensing Color: People, Plants, Policies, Places" as part of Sensorium: Anthropology and the Senses, the annual seminar series of the Department of Anthropology.
Stern is professor in visual arts and the University of California, San Diego, and author of "The Smoking Book," which, according to "Publishers Weekly," "links more than 50 often stunning and always intriguing pieces in a melange of genres, including fiction, memoir, history and criticism." She is also author of "The Scorsese Connection" and co-editor of "Falling For You: Essays on Cinema and Performance." |
