| Description: | "Advancing Solutions for Men of Color in Higher Education and The Crisis Facing America" is a panel discussion and the opening event in the 26th Annual Heman Sweatt Symposium on Civil Rights, whose theme for 2012 is "Awareness to Action: Men of Color in Higher Education and the Crisis Facing American." A 5 p.m. reception precedes the panel.
Participants are Dr. Kevin Michael Foster, Department of Educational Administration and Department of African and African Diaspora Studies; Mr. Neil Horikoshi, Asian and Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund; Dr. Mario Garza, Indigenous Cultures Institute; Mr. Michael Lofton, African American Men and Boys Harvest Foundation; Dr. Victor Saenz, Department of Educational Administration; and Dr. Ron Williams, the College Board. |
