| Description: | Rock Movie Night features a presentation by Matt Wilder, "Bouldering Above Gear: A Synthesis of Distant Disciplines," plus excerpts from our favorite climbing films, the chance to win gear, information on UT Outdoor Recreation trips to Enchanted Rock and gear and discounts from Backwoods.
Through this multimedia show, Wilder tracks his history as a climber following his split identity as a boulderer and a trad climber with some classic photos from his early days. The show will highlight classic climbs and boulder problems he's established, repeated or failed on in the past. The show culminates with a personal narrative of his experience establishing two new 5.14R trad routes in the Front Range, Viceroy and Cheating Reality, accompanied by video footage and photo sequences. |
