Description:Attend an evening with Staff Sergeant Salvatore A. Giunta on Thursday, Feb. 23, at 7 p.m. in the LBJ Auditorium. Giunta is the first living recipient of the Medal of Honor in Iraq or Afghanistan. UT students, faculty and staff may obtain their free passes with a valid UT ID beginning on Thursday, Feb. 16, at 7:30 a.m.

Giunta was cited for saving the lives of members of his squad on October 25, 2007, during the war in Afghanistan. He left the army in June 2011 and is attending school in Colorado.
